September 2007 - California

The California Supreme Court has upheld a lower court’s decision in favor of a high school student’s free speech. The case involved the publication of editorials on immigration and reverse racism written by high school student Andrew Smith in 2001 and 2002 in the Novato High School paper "The Buzz". The Novato High School sought to censure Andrew Smith by removing copies and delaying printing of the paper.

Richmond - Jane and Steven Smith, parents of 15-year-old Emily Smith, sued the sponsors of the Urban Journalism Workshop in a class-action complaint, claiming their daughter was excluded from the program because she is white. The defendants in the case include VCU; Media General Inc., which owns the Times-Dispatch; the Dow Jones Newspaper Fund, and eight individuals including Times-Dispatch publisher Thomas A. Silvestri. They are represented by The Center for Individual Rights, a nonprofit law firm in Washington, D.C. that has led opposition to affirmative action.

South Pinellas -A fight with strong racial overtones broke out in November at a Wendy's fast food outside Largo High School. A 14 yeor old girl who had broken with a former black boyfriend had been taunted for a long time by other black students. Eventually, a fight broke out between black and white kids. Lisa Decker, the white girl's mother, was punched in the face by a young black. She also noticed that police, when it came, arrested only the white students.

Newhall - Hundreds of students from Hart High School stayed home tuesday after messages were posted on a myspace website calling some students to "Bring your weapons to school day". The message also encouraged to attack white female students, especially ones with blond hair.

Newhall - A race riot has erupted at Hart High School. Blacks and latino students ganged up against white students. A white girl is rumored to have been beaten. Police arrested latinos who screamed racial slurs and "Brown pride".

March 2006 - France -
a group of german exchange students at the College Jorissen (a middle school) in Drancy, a city denselty populated with muslims immigrants from North Africa, where stoned by pupils who were upset because the german girls' skirt were considered too short. they looked like "whores", a "french" student told Radio station RTL.

Note that what deemed "short" for muslims immigrants might allready be quite long by european and american standards .

Spokane - at the Lewis and Clark High school, Tyson Leroy Brown, a 21 year old black man, was arrested on suspicion of malicious harassment, a Class C felony hate crime. He alleged hate crime attack on a 15-year-old white victim. He said "I want to beat up one of these white boys," he added "I should have kicked him until he'd never get up … I'm a racist, and I hate all you white boys."

Henrico County - Lamont Joseph Fountain and two other black youth have been charged with a hate crime. According to statements obtained during an investigation, on september 15th, they assaulted and hit several times a european american teenager because he was a "white person in a black neighborhood and appeared to be an easy target."

Jacksonville - Jean Belizaire, an 18 year old black Sandalwood High School Student, struck a 17-year-old girl in the back of the head with a rolled up package of papers with such force that she became dizzy and nauseous. When questioned by police, Belizaire, who is black, admitted striking the girl because she was white.

April 25, 2005 -- A Manhattan junior high school has been ordered to undergo "sensitivity training" by the city Department of Education after an 11-year-old girl was bullied one too many times by racist kids. Aurora Heim-Salgado, a sixth-grader at Wagner JHS on the Upper East Side, has been taunted, teased and assaulted by classmates because she's white. The most recent attack occurred last week, when a 12-year-old Asian boy called her a "white bitch" and knocked her to the ground with a punch to the back.

"My daughter has suffered because she is white," said the girl's father, Gregory Salgado. "She's picked on because she is some kind of symbol."

Invoking the name “Martin Luther King”, screaming “Black Power!” and calling them "white crackers", a gang of up to 30 black teens attacked four white girls. One girl was dragged by her hair . The girls were bleeding and beaten to the point where they had cuts, scrapes, footprints and dirt all over them. Two girls were hospitalized - one with a broken nose and one with a head injury. UInitialy, this was not considered a hate crime but the city's Corporation Counsel Office, which prosecutes cases in Family Court, raised the charges against the assailants. "It should have been a hate crime from day one," fumed one parent.

During students demonstrations, about a 1 000 african and arab youths came from paris surburbs specifically to assault white kids, beat them and mug them. The Assaults appear to be racially motivated, according to journalists, law enforcement officials and witnesses at the Scene.

March 2005 - USA - Oregon

Eugene - at Jefferson Middle School, Police are investigating an attack on a 12-year-old boy of Russian descent as a bias crime after an older student allegedly beat up Oleg Gidenko at school, breaking several ribs and injuring his spleen. The accused attacker, who is Hispanic, "made a derogatory remark at time of the assault related to (the younger boy's) Russian heritage." Oleg was born in Salem; his parents immigrated to Oregon from Russia in 1991.

New Zealand - In Invercargill, a twelve year old girl has been victim of a racist attack. She girl was hit on the back and the ear. Stones were also thrown at her

Andrew Smith, a former high school journalist, is suing the Novato Unified School District, in Novato. Two of his articles were censored in the student Paper in November 2001. One talked about immigration. The other described the "reverse" racism he had been a victim of. he recounted how he had been assaulted by several Black kids.

STOCKTON -- Concerns about racial violence are high at Bear Creek High School, where one student was arrested last week and two others have been suspended after attacks on white students, Stockton police and Lodi Unified officials said. Arrest came after a student was beat up near the school gym on Wednesday. In a separate incident the same day, another teen was attacked in a boys' bathroom. In both cases, the victims -- ages 15 and 16 -- were white and their alleged assailants were Black, police and school officials said.

Stockton police and school officials consider two of the attacks to be hate crimes, because they appear to have been racially motivated.

USA - Florida - The students arrested range in age from 11 to 14. Police say students uttered the words, "This is white cracker season." Witnesses told police the students then began to punch and kick three other students.

Jaime Montoya a teacher at Anzar High school, in San Juan Bautista, wanted kids to beat up a pinata: It was a white woman with blonde hair. Several students complained...

Charlottestown, Prince Edward Island. - Dylan Adams knows the sting of racism. In a video he created, he tells how it felt to have been a minority at an elementary school. "(The students) made my life miserable. They picked on me. They tried to pick fights with me at lunch. One kid said "i don't have to listen to you whitie", says Dylan, 12

Tim Bueler, a teen who founded a conservativ club at Rancho Cotate High School faces threats and racial harassment. Tim said he's been threatened at least three times by Hispanic students who call him "white boy" and "racist." One boy said he was going to "find someone" to beat up Tim

Brooklyn - a white teen has suffered severe racial harassment and bullying at Sheepshead Bay High School. Some black student threatened her, calling her "casper" as an allusion to her skin color.

In California, Derek Holbrook and Justine Steele, a senior at Independence High School in San Jose, Peter Maglaty and Matt Matier in Piedmont High School, Lisa McClelland at Oakley 's Freedom High School, Jeffrey Powell of Skyline High School in East Oakland are White teenagers try to come to term with being white in a multicultural world.

After Kevin Bailey, a young skateboarder, was arrested while possessing the anarchist cookbook, having a utility knife and Sporting the nazi Symbol at spencer high school, in fort benning, his friends, Ryan Hansen and Ian Arnold, and a mother explain that sporting the swastika is a way for those white students to cope with black racism in a school where only 22 % of students are whites.

In California, Lisa McClelland, a 15 year old girl, tried to Open a caucasian club at Freedom High School in Oakley, where there is a Black club, a Latino club and an Asian Club. All Hell broke loose. Eventually, she was hunted out of her school.

A program on british TV describes the life of the last white family in Maningham, a district of Bradford.

Ohio, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County - 12 girls and six boys, aged from 9 to 15 years old, all of them either black or latinos, and students at Wilbur Wright Middle School, are charged for assaulting, beating up and kicking a 13 year old white teenage girl.

This was part of a may day ritual called "Beat Up a White Kid Day"

Seattle police are trying to track down four Hispanic men for possible hate-crime charges after they crashed a house party in Ballard and trounced several white guests because they felt like "beating up some white guys," police said. A 17-year-old Crown Hill boy suffered head and body injuries and remained in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center. One of the men asked a partygoer, a 21-year-old black man, "Do you feel like beating some white guys?" according to a police report.

In the Seattle Area, a survey in Public High Schools showed that proportionally, more white students complained about racial harassment than black students. It was swept under the rug

Still in the seattle area, The minute Rebecca Porcaro walked into Rainier Beach High School in 1995, she was relentlessly insulted and threatened by Black students. Comments like "White slut. Stupid white girl. White bitch, go back to Bellevue. This is our school." became her daily lot. Eventually, she sued the Seattle Public Schools and won her lawsuit.

On a practice field near Western Hills High School, 3 Black students, John Wright, Charles Holley, and Leroy Harrow approached 17-year-old White student Brendan Rice on Jan. 21 after one of them announced that he ''wanted to hit a white boy.''. They repeatedly punched and kicked their victim, leaving him with serious head injuries that forced him to remain in the hospital for one week.
